Eye Operating Theatres
Our new state-of-the-art theatre has separate areas for outreach and private clinic patients. Outreach theatre has three operating tables to increase the surgical volumes. Equipped with Zeiss operating microscope, the private theatre has a live surgery display facility. The theatre is scientifically designed and is laid with Epoxy flooring making it one of the best ophthalmic theatres in this region.
NB:// Lions Medical Centre has very actively taken up the corneal transplantation project. Having performed several successful transplant surgeries in the last few years, the centre has also been instrumental in increasing the awareness levels about eye donations among the local people. It has tied up with organizations like Cornea-Help (Germany) and has helped many corneal blind patients to regain their vision.
