Charity / Outreach work by
Lions Medical Centre

Lions Medical Centre is a proud drive of noble and successful charity programmes for the welfare of the local community. These include Screening camps are conducted in remote areas of Coastal Kenya, where the cataract patients are then brought to the hospital, surgeries are performed effectively and they are dropped back to their villages. This is done totally free of cost to patients in need. As a result, the Centre performs around 2,000-3,000 such free cataract surgeries every year.

Donation Appeal

All the charitable activities of Lions Medical Centre require finances. The income generated at Lions Private eye clinic, charitable section and Optical shop along with the donations from organizations and individual philanthropists is just enough to manage the day-to-day affairs of the centre. The major expansions, buying of new equipment and additional outreach surgical activities require additional funding.
