Lions Medical Centre also known as Lions Medical Eye and Laser Centre, Mombasa is a leading eye care provider in Coastal Kenya. It began in 1995 as Lions Eye and Blood Centre and managed by Lions Club of Mombasa Pwani, to serve the less fortunate patients of the region by providing affordable and quality Eye Care services. .
The Centre functions on the successful model implemented from Arvind Eye Hospital, India, wherein the fully equipped state of the art Executive/Private Eye Clinic generates income to subsidize the quality eye care services to the less privileged members of the society.
Our Partners include The Kenya Medical Training College that has recognized the Lions Medical Centre as a surgical training center for their Clinical Officer training & Lions Medical Centre is on board the medical provider panels of the leading insurance companies, Parastatals, and Corporates in Kenya.

We aim to be the leading Eye hospital in Mombasa, Kenya and beyond by eliminating preventable and treatable blindness through affordable and comprehensive patient Eye Care, “gift of sight” and rehabilitation services including current specialized services.
